Aleksei archer is the American performer and model who was born in New York City is known for her dramatic performance as well as her versatility. Born in St. Louis, she was moved to New York City at the age of only a few days. In 1991, she received a bachelor's in art from Barnard College. This was also the exact year that she was employed as a waitress for An American Place. Guarnaschelli got her first taste of dining experiences through watching recipes that she'd been editing in her mother's cookbooks getting tested at her home. Her culinary experience began when she observed her mom test recipes in her kitchen while editing cookbooks. Her final position was the executive chef of Butter. Guarnaschelli is an Food Network Iron Chef America contestant who competed against Cat Cora for the Farmers Market Battle of 2007 on Iron Chef America. In the following years, she's participated at the show's guest judges. She also participated in The Next Iron Chef Season Four in 2011, when she placed third. The contest ended in defeat for her Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast. She was elevated to sous-chef to Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian following the 4th season of The Next Iron Chef. In 2008, she became the host of The Food Network's The Cooking Loft with Alex Guarnaschelli where she teaches a small group of students teaching them how transform classic meals.
